About Me

My name is Kristle Halbert and I am very much in love with photography! I have been taking pictures and documenting memories since I was old enough to play with my grandma’s film camera. About 6 years ago I decided to get a professional camera and start doing what I love for a living. If you have off the wall, creative, or whacky ideas then I am the photographer for you! I love having a client’s input and exploring new ideas to create images that you will treasure for years to come! If you are interested in simple family photos, traditional or candid, then I would love to work with you to create the images that are perfect for you. I will encourage you to be yourself and interact with one another during a session, which in turn produces the very best images! My main focus during a session is to capture emotion, a simple picture can tell a story all by itself. Weddings

Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life and should be documented to the fullest! There is no need to stress and worry about something such as whether or not you will get a picture of everything important. It’s my job to stress about that and not yours, so you can relax and enjoy your day and I will run around “shooting” everyone and everything. Before your wedding day we will come up with a tentative schedule for family and group pictures, to ensure you feel comfortable with the time frame and to give us a game plan. Weddings can be very hectic sometimes, especially for the bride. My goal is to alleviate as much stress as possible on your big day, and to create images that newlyweds will absolutely fall in love with!

Engagements

If you are planning on getting married, you are going to want beautiful pictures showing the love you have for one another, and the eagerness to enter into the next chapter with your love. We will discuss which particular look or theme you might be wanting. My goal is to capture the emotion, showing the love you have for one another and representing your personalities as well, to produce images you will want on your invitations, and your family will adore! Your invitation or save the date design will be complimentary.

Family ~ Friends

Our little ones grow up so fast, it is important to capture those moments while they last and to see how they grow through images you can view for years to come. It is also important to capture memories that include our elder loved ones, these are always so very cherished. Family pictures are very important, they have everyone dearest to your heart, frozen in a moment, and all in one image! Best friends are just as important to photograph. Every family is different, and every family should be represented in a way that best suits them. My goal is to provide a family image that truly captures who you all are, an image that can hang on your wall and be adored by many!

Portraits

So often we simply do not take the time or effort to have our own portrait done. It is something most people put on the back burner, and it often never gets done. Age, shape, and size do NOT matter to our children. A portrait of grandma or a portrait of mom and dad is something that our children and grandchildren will cherish always. I will put together a personalized plan for you; whether it’s your 7-year old daughter who wants her picture done in a super hero outfit, or you yourself just wanting a portrait for your children. My goal for your portrait session is to create cherished images that will hang on your family’s wall for years to come.

Graduates

The ending of a chapter in the life of a high school grad or a college grad is one of the proudest moments for them and their families, it's the beginning of a new chapter with endless possibilities. Graduation is a great accomplishment and something you will want to look back on for years to come. For your senior session we will discuss beforehand what themes might be included if possible; such as favorite hobbies, sports you play, instruments you play, sketching, skating, writing, reading, medals or ribbons you have earned, a favorite story theme, theater, robotics, animals you might show, etc. My goal is to provide you with images that are personalized and represent who you are and what you have accomplished, images capturing your excitement over starting a new chapter in your life!

Children ~ Milestones

In the blink of an eye you go from changing their diapers to watching them graduate from high school. Our children grow so fast and we often miss a few milestones we had every intention of having photographed, these are images that cannot be reenacted at a later date. I want your child to be themselves, if your child doesn’t particularly like pictures, I am extremely patient and almost every single time succeed in getting them to loosen up and give the camera smiles and giggles. Getting them completely off guard and having fun creates an image of your child that you wouldn’t expect if they usually aren’t having it. My goal with your child’s session is to capture who they truly are, with all of their glorious attitude and personality shining through!

Maternity

If you are expecting an addition to your family, then you are glowing in a way that only happens with expectant mothers. Many times we are exhausted and busy, we don’t make the time to schedule a maternity session, and often we regret this later. This is an absolutely beautiful time in your life and you should have images to look back on and admire the glow of expecting your precious little one. My goal is to capture this brief period in your life and show your absolute beauty, to create images you will fall in love with and your children will love also. (I highly recommend scheduling your newborn session during this time to make sure we get the very best pictures at the youngest age possible)

Newborns

The most life altering event can be when you are blessed with your precious newborn. This is a time that is very short but also very sweet! These tiny humans that we have created can change everything, and in a good way! They do not stay newborn though and change VERY fast. It is important to schedule your newborn session within the first 14 days of their life, the first week is ideal for a newborn session. However, if you miss the deadline we can still get adorable images of your baby. My goal is to capture your newborn in all their perfection, with an image showing how tiny and brand new they are, an image new parents and grandparents will fall in love with!
